TNA has been on an upward trajectory lately, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping. However, a somewhat controversial name is set to be returning this weekend in Atlanta.
Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that:
The belief is Tessa Blanchard has signed here which explains her not being in CMLL the last few weeks.
The belief is that she’ll debut in Atlanta, do a quick program with Jordynne Grace, with Grace then leaving for WWE when her current contract expires. At least that’s the talking point going around. But I was told Blanchard having signed is confirmed.

Blanchard left IMPACT Wrestling in controversial fashion during COVID, but she also made history as the first ever female World Champion in company history.
The TNA Knockouts division could use a bit of a boost with Jordynne Grace speculated to head to WWE in January, and Blanchard might be just what it needs.
Will Tessa climb the ranks to claim the Knockouts World Title, or does she have her sights set on the TNA World Title again? We’ll have to see how it all plays out.
