The smackdowns keep coming this holiday season with Pro Wrestling Australia’s MOUNTIES MANIA.
Pro Wrestling Australia will bring high-octane family entertainment to Mounties on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
While the Christmas festivities may have wrapped up for the year, the family holiday fun rolls on with Pro Wrestling Australia’s (PWA) highly anticipated MOUNTIES MANIA. This exciting night, showcasing Australia’s most dynamic wrestling talent, will take over Mounties at Mount Pritchard on Saturday, December 28 and promises to deliver non-stop action and thrilling showdowns for wrestling fans of all ages.
MOUNTIES MANIA will be PWA’s final event of the year, and they will be sending off 2024 in style. With sold out events, including the two-day COLOSSEUM at the Metro Theatre in October which saw WWE’s Grayson Waller return home and NRL legend James Graham make his pro-wrestling debut, PWA has delivered this country’s best wrestling entertainment with their roster of heroes and villains.
The main event of the night will be when Ricky “The Example” South battles Big Fudge for the Mounties Cup in an electrifying Cage Match. This will be no ordinary bout, as the cage changes everything.
“The pain that Big Fudge has caused me recently will be returned ten-fold, inside a steel cage,” threatens Ricky South. “This brutal structure will serve as the perfect opportunity to win the Mounties Cup, all while embarrassing Big Fudge in front of his adoring fans,”
All eyes will be on the 6 Man Tag Team, where PWA’s Heavyweight Champion Jessica Troy will finally come face-to-face with her ex-best friend, Charli Evans, who turned against her after she won COLOSSEUM and joined forces with Sam Osborne and Will Kiedis of North Shore Wrestling. Jessica won’t be doing this on her own, as she will be joined by The Tuckman and Scott Green, otherwise known as crowd favourites, The Dropouts.
“At COLOSSEUM, I’m the wrestler who walked away with the sword and retained the PWA Heavyweight Championship, not Charli Evans,” says Jessica Troy. “Instead of celebrating with me, my best friend betrayed me, She joined North Shore Wrestling and broke my heart. So, at Mounties Mania, I’m bringing along my new friends, the Dropouts, to take out ALL three of the North Shore W**kers.”
Two of Australia’s biggest wrestling personalities, Robbie Eagles and Jack Bonza, will be battling it out in a fiery match up for the Soul of PWA Championship. Paris De Silva will also be taking on Backslide Girlz’ Shay Kassidy, Lil Tony Stellino will challenge Ty Thayer and all can bear witness to a Hair vs Hair Match featuring Digby and Nathan Pidgeon.
Doors open at 7:00pm with the show starting at 7:30pm on Saturday, December 28 at Mounties, 254 Humphries Rd, Mount Pritchard NSW 2170. Tickets are available online for $15.00 for children, $15.00 for Mounties members and $30.00 for non-members. ALL tickets will be $35.00 on the day of event, so ensure that you grab tickets early!
