Starting in January, WWE is moving RAW and its international distribution products to Netflix. Naturally, this leaves open channels in those regions, on of which happens to be Canada.
Yesterday, it was revealed by a wrestling fan that, allegedly, TNA iMPACT will be airing on SportsNet 360 with WWE vacating the channel in favor of Netflix.
Breaking News: #tnaimpact will be airing on Sportsnet 360 in Canada starting in January! With #WWERaw, #WWENXT & #Smackdown leaving SN360, they’re replacing WWE with TNA. As for AEW, #AEWDynamite remains on TSN, but #AEWCollision will move to the Canadian version of USA Network
TNA has always aired on Anthem-owned property Fight Network in Canada, and I expect they will still be available there, but having a linear option is good as well.
SportsNet 360 has been home to all WWE programming in recent years.
Thanks to Twitter follower Griffin for confirming. TNA iMPACT will officially be on SportsNet 360 on Thursday, January 2nd with a BRAND NEW TNA iMPACT! Episode in the 8-10 time slot, with TNA in 60 as a lead in from 7-8pm.
This is great news and hopefully the first of many new international distribution deals for TNA.
