Update On How Danhausen’s ROH Final Battle 2024 Return Came About
Danhausen made a very nice and very evil return at Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2024 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. However, the return apparently came about the day before the event.
According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp via Fightful Select, AEW called Danhausen the day before ROH’s Final Battle and told him to come do the show, so he did.
“Yeah, they called him the day before the show and they told him to come do the show. He said, ‘Okay it’s my job so I’ll come do the show.’ That’s pretty much it. He’s been very transparent the whole time it’s not him refusing to work or anything. It was a situation definitely where he told them he had some family stuff, wouldn’t be able to work as many Saturdays. And then he started to work Saturday indy dates and AEW looked at it and said, ‘Well, what the hell’s going on here?’ He would probably be the first to tell you, yeah, that probably could have been communicated better but he’s also a guy that’s like they can just tell me to come to work, it’s my job. And they did that.”
Danhausen made his return during the Atlantis Jr. vs. Mansoor match, when he appeared from under the ring to even the score when he punched Mason in the balls when Mason was choking Atlantis Jr. on the outside.
