Nic Nemeth has a been great since his debut in TNA Wrestling almost one year ago. He first debuted at the TNA Hard To Kill PPV in January, 2024.
After Moose defeated Alex Shelley to win the TNA World Title in the Main Event of the night, Nemeth came through the crowd and appeared behind Moose in the ring. He took Moose out with a DANGER ZONE and made his mark in the company.
Nic would then go on to win the TNA World Title at Slammiversary in Montreal, Canada, when he overcame Steve Maclin, Josh Alexander, Moose, Frankie Kazarian, and Joe Hendry.
This morning, PWInsider has an update regarding Nemeth’s status with the company.
TNA Champion Nic Nemeth has signed an extension on his TNA deal, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
Nemeth’s deal would have expired at the start of 2025 but the two sides came to terms on an extension.
No word yet on the length of the extension.
Nic Nemeth joins a list of AJ Francis, Masha Slamovich, Ash By Elegance, and John Skyler as talent who have reached new deals or signed an extension with the company.
Nemeth is set to defend the TNA World Title against top TNA star and viral sensation Joe Hendry to the TNA Genesis PPV on January 19th.
Will Nic retain the title, or will Joe Hendry finally become the champion we all know he can be? We’ll have to tune in to find out!
