Update On Reason For Finn Balor Being Sent Home From South American Tour & Missing This Week’s RAW

As we reported earlier today, Finn Balor was sent home early from WWE’s recent Tour of South America after working the WWE Live Event in Santiago, Chile.

Balor was also absent from tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, and is was announced that he will miss tomorrow night’s semifinals of WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge. It was mentioned during commentary on RAW that the reason for Balor’s absence is due to an injury that he sustained last week at the hands of Drew McIntyre, however that does not appear to be the actual reason for Finn missing scheduled appearances.

According to a report from PWInsider, Finn Balor is not actually injured, the reason for missing time is due to an illness. The report adds that Balor is expected to be better in time for this Sunday’s WWE TLC PPV and his match against Drew McIntyre.
