REPORT: Seth Rollins Isn’t As Big A Star As WWE Wanted Him To Be
Seth Rollins has had a great career in the WWE so far, both as a singles and as a member of The Shield. He went on to defeat Triple H at last year’s Wrestlemania and things were looking up for him. However, recent events might have changed things for him.
On Oh, You Didn’t Know, Brad Shepard said that that Rollins’ Intercontinental Title Match at WWE TLC was viewed with disappointment backstage. The match was a dud and Rollins was not the star that WWE expected him to be.
“Internal reaction on Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose at TLC. I asked a source in the company about this. They said that Seth and Dean was a ‘flop’ and believe fans are over The Shield stuff. In fact, they went on to rant on the treatment of Seth Rollins and how him beating Hunter at WrestleMania was a ‘massive waste of time’ and wasn’t nearly the making of a star that they thought it was.”
Hopefully WWE will have plans for Rollins and he is able to capitalize on them once again. After all, he is still one of the most over superstars in the company currently.
