According to PWInsider, WWE Superstar Paige was checked out by WWE doctors after her match at last night’s WWE Live Event at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale NY, but it has been reported that she did not go to a local hospital.
The report stated that the word backstage was that Paige suffered a stinger after being kicked from behind during the match by Sasha Banks. If that is in fact the case, it would be expected that WWE would pull Paige from the remainder of the live events this week as a precaution. It should also be noted that Paige just returned to in ring action after roughly a year off following neck surgery.
The match was a contest between Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) and the team of Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James. After Paige’s injury the match was stopped and ruled a no contest. The reported booking for the event had Absolution going over, but that was changed on the fly.
Numerous reports from WWE fans in the Long Island area have sent word that Paige was spotted at the WWE hotel after the show, which would indicate that she has not been hospitalized.
