How Much Have Members Of The Elite Invested Into AEW?
Since the announcement of the planned launch of All Elite Wrestling back on January 1st, rumors surrounding the company have been the talk of the wrestling world.
AEW has already locked up some key talent to long-term deals, and the potential of a future television deal for the company sounds like a strong possibility as talks are already said to be underway.
It has been reported that Tony Khan, a co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars has invested $100 million dollars into AEW, and will be the company’s primary financial backer. There have been conflicting reports however over how much money, if any, that members of The Elite have invested into the company themselves.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed ownership and investment into AEW, and revealed that members of The Elite have not invested any of their own money into the company, despite being in key roles behind the scenes.
Regarding ownership of All Elite Wrestling, Meltzer said:
“No [The Elite] did not [invest any money]. The Kahan Family is 100% owners.”
