Backstage Update On Possible WrestleMania 34 Match Between John Cena & The Undertaker
It was reported earlier in the week that the rumored match between AJ Styles and John Cena for WrestleMania 34 is no longer being considered to take place.
On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer also mentioned that the Cena/Styles match would probably not be taking place. He instead mentioned that one of the possible names being tossed around as an opponent for Cena is The Undertaker.
It may also be worth noting that the same twitter account, @WrestleVotes, who broke the story about Neville walking out of WWE, has also mentioned that the rumored John Cena vs The Undertaker match at WrestleMania 34 is not definite, but that it is certainly “on the table”.
You can see the tweet mentioned below:
Hearing Taker vs Cena is not definite but certainly "on the table". Many in WWE are still convinced Taker is done, hip surgery or not. Could be a result of his direct relationship with Vince. He only needs to tell him, & no one else. And Vince keeps everything w/ Taker hush.
