Earlier this month, Impact Wrestling’s Matt Sydal suffered a knee injury, and he needed surgery for it. The former X-Division Champion was originally scheduled to undergo the operation on January 24th, but it had to be postponed.
According to Matt, there were some insurance issues that postponed the surgery and so it had to be rescheduled for next week. Today he took to Twitter and revealed that he had successful surgery.
Surgery went well! I’m meeting with my doctor tomorrow for more information and to begin the recovery process. Thanks for the support
It is unclear as to when Matt will be making his return. Hopefully it’ll be soon enough. After all, he has received deals from both WWE and AEW.
