The Revival won a fatal four-way tag match on this week’s RAW and became the #1 contender to the RAW Tag Titles. They are promised a title shot in the future.
They were then interviewed backstage, where they addressed the rumors of requesting release from WWE.
Scott Dawson said that he and Dash Wilder have been a team for 27 years and that their goal is to win the RAW Tag Team Titles. Wilder then talked about the conspiracies against them since they joined the main roster.
“27 years we have fought side by side as a team win, lose, or draw. Tonight out there we proved that we are the best tag team. The best tag team on Raw. The best tag team on SmackDown. The best tag team in the company. The best tag team in the world.”
“Nobody can stand toe to toe with us and tonight we proved that we exercised the demons. We got rid of the conspiracy that has been haunting us for 2018, 2017. No more injuries, okay? No more conspiracies. No more Revival getting screwed out of title shot after title shot after title shot. Never again.”
“Now 2019. Now WWE Raw we showed the world why we are the absolute best when we win the Raw Tag Team Titles and we revive tag team wrestling.”
Scott Dawson then addressed the rumors of The Revival wanted to leave WWE.
“There’s a rumor going around at The Revival. I’m sure you’ve heard about it. It’s the scuttlebutt all over the place and we’re here to let you know man the rumors are true. Dash and myself plan on leaving Monday Night Raw as the Raw Tag Team Champions, but for now, Top Guys out.”
We will have to wait and see if they do become RAW Tag Team Champions eventually.
