WWE Announcer Almost Quit at WrestleMania Because of Michael Cole Yelling
WrestleMania can more than likely tend to be a crazy time if you are apart of the biggest event WWE holds.
Pat McAfee hasn’t been employed long by WWE and with that comes some heavy critiquing if something is done wrong. Michael Cole laid into McAfee before WrestleMania 35 and Vince McMahon didn’t even seem to mind either.
McAfee said during his show that he almost quit at WrestleMania this past Sunday due to the fact there was a miscommunication on what he should wear and because of it there was a huge issue backstage.
“[Michael Cole said] ‘I told you no shorts!’ I said you told me no jorts. He said ‘you look unprofessional, you look sloppy.’ He was like yelling at me in front of all these people that I looked up to.”
The altercation went down just 45 minutes before the kickoff show started and McAfee was walking around MetLife stadium all day and hadn’t been approached until then.
You can see the shorts Pat McAfee was wearing with his suit below.
