Last night on RAW as part of the WWE Superstar Shake-Up, former NXT Tag Team Champions the War Raiders debuted with a new name.. The Viking Experience.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the main roster debut for The Viking Experience last night on RAW. Meltzer touched on the decision to change the teams name, and although he did not have an answer as to why WWE changed their name, he did however touch on what the company has planned for the duo now that they are on RAW.
Meltzer said:
“They’re clearly grooming them for a tag team title shot against Ryder and Hawkins so it was a good debut. As far as why they weren’t listed in the graphic, I don’t know that.”
