WWE Expecting Dean Ambrose To Come Back
Dean Ambrose’s time in WWE has come to an end as he is exiting the company once his contract expires at the end of this month. Tonight WWE is scheduled to air a WWE Live Event and is titling the event “The Shield’s Final Chapter.”
Ambrose gave another farewell following RAW last week, and on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that he had heard Ambrose could be considering retiring from wrestling. He then went on to state that his feeling is that WWE is not fearful of losing Dean Ambrose to AEW, and elaborated a little more on the situation.
Meltzer said:
“He’s had so many farewells it’s not even funny […] It’s different. My gut is that they don’t expect him to go to AEW. They expect him to come back and they wanna make it a big deal and when he’s ready to come back he’s happy to come back and the fans see him as a big star.”
“He’s burned out and he’s unhappy. If he’s unhappy then whatever he’s unhappy about probably isn’t going to change. If he’s burned out and needs a rest then he’ll probably come back.”
We will have to wait and see what exactly is next for Dean Ambrose as his WWE contract expires at the end of this month. We will keep you updated as we hear anything new regarding the future of Dean Ambrose after leaving WWE at the end of the month.
