WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart unveiled and presented the new AEW World Championship Belt to the world at Double or Nothing on Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. But, it sounds like that wasn’t originally the plan AEW had in mind for presenting their World Title Belt to the audience.
Originally scheduled to have been a part of Starrcast during the week was another WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair.. however, Flair had to undergo a medical procedure last Monday which caused him to have to cancel his appearances.
According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, The Nature Boy Ric Flair was supposed to have taken part in AEW’s Double or Nothing event. The original plan for the AEW Title unveil was said to have been for Flair to present to belt instead of Bret Hart.
