Arguably the hottest star in wrestling right now is Jon Moxley FKA Dean Ambrose. Debuting for AEW at their inaugural ‘Double Or Nothing’ event and being deemed a top player for the company.
Then the announcement came that Jon Moxley will be facing Juice Robinson for the NJPW U.S. Championship. It seems like every move Moxley makes creates waves in the wrestling community.
Moxley has now been announced to compete against Joey Janela at AEW’s Fyter Fest. This is somewhat of a dream match for many because of the history both men share. They made a name for themselves as “deathmatch” wrestlers and play the “bad boy” type character. Joey even calls himself the “Bad Boy”, and their first confrontation was filmed for Being The Elite.
Shortly after BTE was released. AEW sent out an official tweet.
The match seems to be a straight up wrestling match because there is already a hardcore match booked for the show with Michael Nakazawa vs. Alex Jebaily. Also on the card is Cody vs. Darby Allin, Omega and the Young Bucks vs. PAC and The Lucha Bros. Tickets are on sale now for the event.
