Floyd Mayweather Teasing MMA Fight In 2018
Floyd “Money” Mayweather posted a video today on social media teasing a potential MMA fight sometime in 2018.
Floyd posted a video to his twitter account earlier today showing the undefeated boxing champion standing in the middle of an octagon dressed in MMA gear, teasing a future MMA fight later this year. In the video Mayweather says, “2018, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather. MMA. What are the odds, Paddy? What are the odds?”

One would assume that the line at the end of his message, “What are the odds, Paddy?” would be meant for his rival “Notorious” Conor McGregor.
As you know, Floyd Mayweather defeated UFC Champion Conor McGregor in the 10th round by TKO in their superfight that took place back in August of 2017. The fight recorded the second highest buy rate in pay-per view history, bringing in 4.3 million domestic buys, behind only the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight which recorded 4.6 million buys. However, it was estimated that nearly 2.93 million viewers illegally streamed the fight online, which heavily affected the number of PPV buys.
We will keep you updated if any further information becomes available regarding a potential MMA superfight between the two.
