WWE Stomping Grounds is this weekend and it seems to be filled with problems. There are low ticket sales, Ticketmaster has been offering 2-for-1 specials on tickets since the sales have been subpar.
Brad Shephard has released a slew of tweets talking about a lot of goings on about WWE Stomping Grounds.
According to a source in #WWE, Stomping Grounds is the lowest sale for any “special event” since Starrcade on November 25th, 2018.

The source further elaborated that there has been a total lack of planning behind the scenes going into Stomping Grounds, even noting employers were getting yelled at. They asked if I knew how bad you would have to “fuck up” for PPV ticket sales to be this low. #WWE
I asked the same source what the company felt was the cause for low ticket sales for #WWE Stomping Grounds, and was told they believe it’s due to a lack of proper build because of Super ShowDown and fans saving to make the trip to Canada for SummerSlam and #NXT Takeover.
The source noted that producers/agents wanted this weekend to provide a clean slate. I’m told there has been a lot of AEW chatter since Double or Nothing among the Superstars. #WWE
