Tyson Kidd Responds To Account About Details Surrounding His Career Ending Injury
Tyson Kidd retired after almost twenty years as a professional wrestler. The retirement wasn’t by choice but by injury.
On June 1, 2015, Kidd suffered a spinal cord injury from Samoa Joe’s Muscle Buster. Kidd tweeted that only 5% of people survive his injury and that he had 16 staples, four screws, and a rod inserted in his neck.
Twitter account @CatchWrestling tweeted today that the injury wasn’t because of Samoa Joe’s move, but because of neck issues that WWE doctors never treated or ignored. Tyson was quick to respond to the tweet, saying that the news is false.
