WWE Superstar Randy Orton recently re-signed with the company. His new deal will see him stay with WWE for another five years.
According to a report from Fightful Select, contract talks with Orton began back in the spring of this year, however the meetings kept getting pushed back holding up the signing of his deal for months. Orton’s deal was said to be “high priority” by some within the company, but that now appears to not be the case.
Orton’s contract talks being pushed back was said to be a hot topic of conversation backstage. It was said that the feeling backstage was that, “if they’ll do that to Randy, they’ll do it to anyone.”
