Reason Why WWE Went With Multi-Person Main Events For Upcoming PPV’s
The Twitter account @WrestleVotes, who has broke several top stories in the past, is reporting that the reason WWE decided to go with multi-person matches at both the Elimination Chamber and Fastlane PPV’s is because they are attempting to “keep fans guessing” as to what they have in store for WrestleMania 34.
“Texting w/ WWE source this morning…interesting note. The reason both PPVs prior to Mania have multi man main events (12 total guys) is to “keep the fans guessing” as to what’s in store for WrestleMania. It’s a different thought process, not sure it’s necessarily working however”
As you probably now know, the main event for the Elimination Chamber PPV will see 7 men battle inside the Chamber for a shot at Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins vs. Elias vs. John Cena vs. The Miz vs. Braun Strowman is now set as the first ever seven-man Elimination Chamber Match.
As seen on SmackDown LIVE this week the main event for the Fastlane PPV is now a Fatal 5-Way Match that features, AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler.
