As we previously reported, plans were in place a few months back that would have seen Hulk Hogan join The Bullet Club in New Japan. The deal ended up falling through because Hulk Hogan was asking for too much money and there was the feeling that Hogan would leave NJPW once he got a call from Vince McMahon about a possible WWE return.
Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso is reporting that Hulk Hogan wanted $750,000 to appear at Wrestle Kingdom and be an honorary member of The Bullet Club.
“When Hogan’s camp named its price, which SI learned was $750,000, New Japan officials declined the offer.”
