AEW Announces Replacement Match For Clutch Adams Vs. Shawn Spears On DARK
Cody Rhode announced over the weekend that AEW had pulled a match between Shawn Spears and Clutch Adams from this week’s episode of AEW Dark due to racist and homophobic remarks made by Adams surfaced.
Clutch Adams has since issued an apology for the remarks that he made back in 2013 that were uncovered by a Twitter user and brought to the attention of Cody and AEW.
AEW has announced a new match for this week’s episode of AEW Dark that will replaced the Clutch Adams vs. Shawn Spears match. Christi Jaynes will face KiLynn King in singles competition. This is a big opportunity for both athletes, as the two have both previously only been featured as enhancement talents for AEW Stars.
