In what was a surprising end to last night’s WWE SmackDown, it was revealed that Roman Reigns is the newest “Paul Heyman Guy”. According to PWInsider, the idea is for a big change of character for Roman Reigns going forward. The change is also expected to affect Bray Wyatt. According to Pwinsider, the plan is to push Reigns as the top heel on SmackDown.
Roman Reigns made his shock return at SummerSlam last Sunday and attacked both Braun Strowman and The Fiend following The Fiend recapturing the WWE Universal Championship in the main event. The current plans call for Strowman’s heel turn to be a permanent one meaning Strowman and Reigns will now be the shows top heels. WWE will be using current WWE Universal Champion ‘The Fiend’ as the top SmackDown babyface.
