Following the news of the Authors of Pain (AOP) being released by WWE on Friday, WWE RAW Superstar Kevin Owens took to Twitter to praise the released duo.
Ownes spent a good chunk of 2020 squaring off against AOP alongside their maniacal leader Seth Rollins and cohort Murphy. Owens regularly faced the group alongside the likes of Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, Viking Raiders, Street Profits and Humberto Carrillo.
He said:
“Those guys beat the hell out of me for months…and I can say with complete honesty that I enjoyed every second of it. Good luck, boys. Hopefully, we’ll share a ring again one day and if so, you can bet you have some receipts coming you way!”
