Chris Jericho’s ‘Fozzy’ Played Concert Which Led To 250,000 New COVID Cases
Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy played some dates back in August including the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The concert gained a lot of backlash and Jericho was heavily criticised for going ahead with the show. Although they were far from being the only band to perform at the famous event, they naturally received a lot of attention from the IWC for those shows.
New data has been released which shows that the event has now been linked to an estimated 250,000 new COVID-19 cases throughout the country. Andrew Friedson, a health economist from the University of Colorado Denver took to Twitter:l to share the news:
We estimate that over 250,000 of the reported cases between August 2 and September 2 are due to the Sturgis Rally. Roughly 19 percent of the national cases during this timeframe.
