Matt Cardona was part of a group of ex-WWE talents to show up for AEW. Following his release from WWE, Matt Cardona showed up to support his friend Cody from a beat down. The one thing Matt Cardona made clear was that his contract was only for a few appearances.
Matt appeared on a recent podcast for ‘Pro Wrestling Junkies‘ in which he confirmed his latest contract update. He hasn’t appeared for the company since All Out and video goes into detail HERE.
Matt Cardona stated he loved working for AEW, and would be up for returning again. He stated when he returns he doesn’t want to just be a bit part, but wants to go for main titles. The excitement in his voice was clear to see, and whilst he’d be great for the company, it would be interested to see where he fits in.
