Rey Mysterio Reportedly Still Set To Meet With Triple H Despite Recent Injury
It now appears that the injury that Rey Mysterio suffered this past Friday night while wrestling a tag team match with Flip Gordon against Joey Mercury and Caleb Konley for Northeast Wrestling, may not be as bad as originally thought. Initial reports speculated that Mysterio may have torn his left bicep, while now it appears as though it may only be a partial tear.
While the severity of the tear to Mysterio’s bicep has not yet been confirmed, he was examined by a doctor earlier this week and was said to be able to move his arm. Had Mysterio suffered a complete tear of his bicep he would not be able to move his arm at all. The fact that he has any movement at all in his arm should be considered a positive sign.
PWInsider is reporting that despite the recent injury Mysterio suffered it has not halted any discussions he had with WWE regarding a return to the company. The two parties are said to be scheduled to be meeting sometime soon to hopefully negotiate a deal.
