Adebayo Akinfenwa Wants In The 2020 WWE Draft
He is ready, he is fit, he is willing to go and now Wycombe Wanders striker Adebayo Akinfenwa has officially declared himself open for the WWE Draft, starting Friday night on Smackdown.
As discussed previously ‘Beast Mode’ Akinfenwa is very keen to work with WWE and it seems that the feeling is mutual with WWE as there has been ongoing talks’ between both parties.
It is unclear what these discussions have consisted of but the Soccer Star has been very vocal on his twitter page about making an appearance within the squared circle, so much so that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has let him know his feeling towards Akinfenwa’s wishes to be a WWE Superstar.
The 38-year-old beast on the field revealed last year that he has been in conversations with Vince McMahon’s company. Akinfenwa recently spoke with British Sports media company TalkSport where he confirmed that there are still talks going on between himself and the WWE.
While it seems unlikely that we will see ‘Beast Mode’ hit our WWE screens during this years Draft. I would never rule out Akinfenwa eventually gracing the WWE Universe with his presence. How he will cope in WWE remains to be seen, but the Striker has the size, the speed, the energy and is also not afraid to talk to the camera – all the attributes a top WWE Superstar must have.
Watch this space, Beast Mode maybe coming to Raw or Smackdown….
