During this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, Elias made his return and attacked Jeff Hardy during a triple threat match between Hardy, AJ Styles, and Seth Rollins. Elias wound up hitting Hardy with his guitar, allowing Styles to pick up the win.
In a rare form of long term storytelling, Elias referenced being written off WWE TV back in May after being “hit” by a car. Although it was later found out this was set up by Sheamus, Elias still believes it was Jeff.
Elias and Jeff Hardy were both drafted to RAW so you can expect that feud to continue. With Jeff Hardy being blamed for the hit and run, it will be interesting to see Elias target Jeff Hardy going forward. It is also great to see Elias back in WWE, and also bringing back that heel persona.
