That record stood for 11 years until tonight at UFC Fight Island 6 when Jun Yong Park defeated John Phillips by unanimous decisions landings 258 ground strikes.
Yong Park and his team had no clue they had broken a record or who it actually belonged to, believing Cormier was talking about Khamzat Chimaev.
