UFC Fight Island 6 didn’t lack action or wrestling references. Matt Riddle has his name mentioned earlier in the night when his 11 year striking record was broken and in the main event, MJF took to Twitter to claim Brian Ortega borrowed a move from fellow AEW wrestler, Chris Jericho
In Round 2 of the main event between Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung, Ortega landed a back spinning elbow
This prompted MJF to say he borrowed the strike from Jericho
Chris Jericho uses a similar finishing move now in AEW called The Judas Effect
