During the latest Audio update via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson discussed Jeff Hardy’s arrest last weekend for a DWI in North Carolina. During the discussion Johnson revealed that Jeff Hardy was scheduled to be at the WWE Performance Center next week, which would indicate he was going to be training for his in-ring return.
“Jeff was slated to be at the WWE Performance Center next week. I was told that well prior to this incident.”
It remains to be seen how Hardy’s recent arrest will affect WWE’s plans for his return following shoulder surgery. As was previously reported Jeff filmed a cameo last week for the Ultimate Deletion Match between Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy. That match is scheduled to be aired on this coming Monday’s episode of RAW. There has been no word as to whether or not Jeff has been edited out of the match, or if he will be left in the video. How WWE handles his cameo should be a good indication that plans have changed regarding his return.
