Lucha Star Principe Aereo Dies In The Ring, Passes Away At 26

The Lucha Star Principe Aereo has sadly passed away at the age of 26.

Principe Aereo’s real name was Luis Angel Salazar. He collapsed in the middle of the ring whilst wrestling for Mexa Wrestling. Tbis happened on the 17th October, 2020 at the Arena San Juan Pantitlan in Mexico City, Mexico.

The young star collapsed after taking two chops to the chest and was immediately removed from the ring and taken to the back to be consulted by doctors. A report from Mas Lucha stated that he was treated by the backstage doctor and he should be immediately sent to the hospital. Unfortunately, no action was able to revive him.

Late in his match, Principe Aereo took two normal (maybe even light) open hand chops to the chest and then suddenly collapses.

If you're familiar with basketball player Hank Gathers, it's the same sort of sudden faint. No fault of his opponent.
