WWE Hall of famer Kurt Angle recently did a quick Twitter Q&A with some of his fans. One of the questions he was asked is what advice he gave to John Cena, when he made his debut in a match vs Kurt Angle, Angle replied to the tweet and offered very high praise to the 16 time world champion:
Incredible praise from Kurt Angle, who himself is one of the greatest of all time. He mentioned that it was Cena’s consistency over a 15 year period that made him the greatest WWE superstar ever, and it’s tough to dispute that.
No other superstar in WWE history has ever been the face of the company for as long as John Cena was, ‘The Face That Runs The Place’, (Sorry AJ) carried the WWE on his back longer than anyone else ever has.
When another fan questioned Angle, and him about not choosing the Undertaker, if he was basing it on consistency, Angle would respond with praise for the ‘Deadman’ as well.
