This week, AEW recorded next weeks AEW Dynamite taping. The company does this, as are others, due to the pandemic and to ensure they have a few shows backed up.
One of the matches set for that taping was Tay Conti vs. Abadon. Dave Meltzer has reported that the match was cut short due to a serious injury suffered by Abadon.
The match was stopped abruptly due to a serious injury. There is no information as of yet as to what the injury was, but it was bad enough for Abadon to be hospitalized. There is also talk within the company that the match will not air next week.
Meltzer has also provided an update on Abadon and has stated she is doing well, and she is expected to make a full recovery.
