Eric Bischoff Says Bret Hart is just A “Miserable Guy”
This week on Eric Bischoff’s podcast 83 Weeks, the topic of conversation was Halloween Havoc 1993. During topics surrounding the year 1993, Conrad Thompson reads a quote from Bret Hart about WCW and steroids. Hart says:
What about the other federations, are they the minor leagues? I would say so, I don’t mean that in a nasty way. There’s the WCW which is probably the only other form of wrestling next to the WWF but I couldn’t hold them close to the WWF when it comes to actual production and wrestling. They have some good wrestlers, a lot of times their wrestlers are interchangeable but I don’t think they have as good of a product. I hate to bring it up but even as far as the drug testing for example, the WCW their drug testing must be pretty Shotty because you can tell by looking at the guys in the WCW that their all obviously drug abusers. There’s no hiding that
After a few laughs, Bischoff holds back nothing while taking about Bret Hart’s comments
Typical of Bret Hart then and now. Bret has always, if Bret doesn’t have somebody to bury, criticize, blame, he can’t really have much of a conversation. He doesn’t have much to say
Bischoff continues:
I think Bret was probably trying to clear the smoke in his own room and creating it in someone else’s as much as anything. Add to that, that’s just Bret. I’ll paraphrase Bret and actually use his words in this context, I don’t mean to say anything bad about anybody but Bret has a tendency to be a whinny bitch
He continues to rehash all this negative nonsense and burying people. That’s Bret… whether he’s burying Ric Flair, whether he’s burying Mick Foley, whether he’s burying Vince McMahon, whether he’s burying Eric Bischoff, whether he’s burying Bill Goldberg. He’s just a negative, miserable guy. That’s how he goes through his daily life. He was doing it in 1993 and he’s still doing it today
