Chelsea Green is in limbo.
The former Laurel Van Ness hasn’t been seen on WWE televison on either main brand or NXT in months, and recently tweeted that she hasn’t even wrestled a match since May 27th of this year. So what’s going on with Green?
It had long been reported that Green, along with some other stars like Arturo Ruas and Vanessa Borne, had been called up to the main roster while Paul Heyman was Executive Director of Raw, but the talents weren’t used before Heyman found himself out of his position with the company.
Since then, rumors have circulated about creative plans for Green. Some rumors had been listed she would be a member of Retribution and Ringside News exclusively reported that her name had been discussed internally for the WWE Draft, but nothing came of either of those rumors. In the end, Green remained in limbo and fans have been scratching their heads wondering when she’ll be seen next on television.
Green hasn’t been completely silent, however. Green remains active on social media, recently sharing some of the first DMs sent to her by her fiance, Matt Cardona.
