One of the more lively entrances at NXT’s Halloween Havoc was Damien Priest’s entrance, one which featured a live guitarist performing his theme for the crowd. With WWE having used their new entrance music talent Def Rebel recently on Raw, it would have been easy to assume that was the case this time. However, it was not.
Damien Priest revealed on his Instagram that the guitarist was his long time friend Charlie Corletta of the rock band The Silencer. He also revealed this was the culimination of a long time dream the two friends had been chasing for 15 years. Sometime during the filming of the event, the two were able to stop and have a small photo shoot with Triple H and Shawn Michaels to celebrate the occasion.
Though Priest lost his North American Title to Johnny Gargano at the event, The Archer of Infamy and his friend certainly had a moment that will live up to his motto and live forever.
