Reason WWE Did Not Book Trick Or Street Fight This Year
Both Raw and Smackdown covered a lot of ground this week. It seemed to be especially focused on the road to Survivor Series, getting the bulk of the show covered and booked to build the hype for one of their biggest pay per views of the year.
However, given the time of the year, one of the company’s usual traditions seemed to be left off both Raw and especially SmackDown. There was no Trick or Street Fight as there has been in past years. Even NXT paid tribute to the holiday with Halloween Havoc, but it was just business as usual on the main roster. So what happened?
Ringside News first reported that the idea for a trick or street fight wasn’t brought up this year, and some may say that it to do with the disarray yesterday’s script was in for most of the day. However, it was simply just not discussed. Raw was too loaded with Survivor Series focus, and SmackDown was more of the same, including the disarray.
Maybe we’ll see one next year.
