RAW Script Was Almost Incomplete By Show Start
WWE has made it a habit in recent weeks of moving slowly with the final script for the night’s show. Last week, it was reported SmackDown’s script was going “terribly” during the day of production. Now it seems like last night was no different.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez noted the script for last night’s RAW show “wasn’t even done until the [production] meeting was over.” According to his report, the finalized script was handed in at 7:45 eastern, 15 minutes before the show was scheduled to go live.
Scripts aren’t usually finalized until Vince McMahon signs off on everything, and there have been times the script was still being written as the show was live on air. Thankfully they didn’t have to do that this time.
