Multiple Wrestling Personalities Call Out Chris Jericho Over Politics
Ron Funches is a big professional wrestling fan as well as being a standout comedian. He has been known to tweet about wrestling beyond the WWE and has been known to carry around replica titles on his television appearances. He even has his own merchandise shop on Pro Wrestling Tees.
Today, he had a bit of shade to throw at a professional wrestler over his thoughts on the 2020 election.
Chris Jericho issued a controversial tweet earlier today about his thoughts over ballots still being counted in key battleground states, a common procedure in any election as states count absentee and mail in ballots, saying he was “not a political person,” giving an opinion that is a strong talking point Donald Trump and his supporters have made. Funches certainly felt otherwise with a simple response.
You’re a very political person.
Funches may have a point. A web search has revealed Chris Jericho has made several donations to the Donald Trump campaign and even featured Donald Trump Jr. on his Talk Is Jericho podcast back in November of 2019. Jericho may claim to not be political, but he does have evidence that would prove to the contrary.
UPDATE: Funches isn’t the only one to call out or even correct Jericho over his tweet. His former tag team partner Lance Storm gave him a little reminder over history.
