WWE’s Plans For Pre-Survivor Series Title Changes Revealed

The WWE has shocked their audience before on the road to Survivor Series. Since using it as a brand vs. brand show, the company has made one of their big features of events the champion vs. champion matches. One of their big talking points on commentary is always how the match can change if the champion loses their title before Survivor Series.

There is precedent for this, if you recall. Jinder Mahal was on the road to facing Brock Lesnar in 2017 only to lose the title to AJ Styles. The following year, Styles was unseated as WWE Champion, denying a rematch against Lesnar that went to Daniel Bryan. Can we expect any surprises like that this year?

Chances don’t look good.

Ringside News has reported that there are no plans to do any title changes on the road to Survivor Series. There had been talk about Roman Reigns to face Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series, but those plans have changed.

Many fans may not be too thrilled over the idea of Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns or even one more Sasha Banks vs. Asuka match, but the current booking plan calls for those matches to remain the same.
