It was announced earlier today that WWE has pulled Charlotte Flair from tonight’s Mixed Match Challenge and SmackDown LIVE events.
The word going around is that the reason Charlotte was pulled was because she had to have dental surgery. Apparently Charlotte had a mouth infection which required minor dental surgery last Wednesday. This is also believed to be the reason she missed this past weekend’s set of SmackDown LIVE Branded WWE Live Events.
The Wrestling Observer‘s Dave Meltzer was asked about the rumored reports regarding Charlotte’s recent mouth surgery, while Meltzer did not shoot down the rumors he did say that he should have more information shortly.

It is believed that Charlotte’s status for WrestleMania 34 is not in question and that she should be ready to go for the event. Charlotte is scheduled to defend her SmackDown LIVE Women’s Championship against Asuka.
