Social media allows professional wrestlers to express their opinions on a variety of topics, with not even the current climate of the world out of bounds. Many wrestlers have taken to Twitter to express their feelings about the outcome of the election, but Daniel Bryan has spoken out about something that was in the orbit of the election.
Disinformation has been a hot topic involving our politics in recent years, and how the spread of it has affected campaigns and the outlook of people in the nation and Daniel Bryan has seen enough. He took to Twitter last night to give his thoughts how we can stop such a thing.
*OPINION* We should invest in programs that teach people how to identify misinformation and how to properly research whether something is true. Many people, myself included, would benefit. Without such programs, young people may struggle to determine truth their entire lives.
Disinformation has been a topic of discussion since the 2016 election. Both sides of the aisle have wanted to stop the spread of it and it continues to remain an issue thanks to social media and how little they fact check and regulate. Bryan brings up a valid point, and hopefully things can be done to prevent disinformation in the future.
