WWE Turns Raw Superstar Face
WWE has quietly made an adjustment to the Braun Strowman character on their internal charts.
Strowman arrived on Raw displaying heel tendencies, adding to the idea that The Fiend changes whoever he comes into contact with. Strowman had been a babyface until his program with Wyatt, changing once The Fiend dragged him into a swamp. Strowman even displayed his new heel tendencies in a recent win over Keith Lee by winning with a low blow.
In a report by PWInsider, WWE has “quietly” moved Strowman into their internal babyface column. This has happened without a real storyline reason, though it’s possible we could see more of a reason in the coming weeks.
Although Strowman was flipped to the heel side on Smackdown after being pulled into a swamp by Bray Wyatt and just a few weeks ago, purposely lowblowed Keith Lee, Strowman is internally considered a babyface for the Raw brand.
While there has been no real signs of this change on television, perhaps the WWE argument is that he has joined the remainder of the Raw men’s Survivor Series team in declaring AJ Styles wasn’t his captain. This could help in the future as well, as a babyface Strowman allows for another potential future opponent for Randy Orton if he remains the WWE Champion after next week’s match against Drew McIntyre.
