AEW Star PAC made his highly anticipated return to television at the end of last night’s episode of Dynamite, when he showed up to confront Eddie Kingston after the main event match between Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix.
As we saw last night, post match Eddie Kingston joined Penta El Zero M to celebrate his victory of Rey Fenix, and cut a promo saying that Penta did not need Fenix’s “dead weight” anymore. This brought out a returning PAC, who we had not seen since prior to the pandemic and lockdown, seemingly setting up PAC and Fenix against Eddie Kingston and his family.
It was already announced at the end of last night’s broadcast that PAC will return to in-ring action on next week’s episode of Dynamite against a member of Eddie Kingston’s family, The Blade.
After talking with sources in AEW, I was told that the plans for PAC now that he has returned is to run a program that will see Death Triangle (PAC, Fenix, and Penta) feud with Eddie Kingston, and The Butcher & The Blade.
I was also told that PAC will remain in the States through next week’s live episode of Dynamite and the set of tapings for the following week before returning home in time for upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. He will then return back to the States following the holiday when AEW returns to live programming.
While last night’s episode seemingly set up a split of The Lucha Brothers, it sounds as though it is only temporary as the end game appears to be a 3-on-3 program between Death Triangle and Kingston, Butcher & Blade.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about plans for PAC, Lucha Bros, and Eddie Kingston and the family.
