Smackdown is no stranger to chaos backstage in recent weeks. Vince McMahon missed last week’s show, something that people said was motivated by last week’s election. Not long ago, we reported that the script was going terribly for a recent episode.
This week’s script is a long way from being done.
According to Ringside News, tonight’s script is being “completely re-done.” There’s no word why things are changing, but they are having to shuffle and change everything around.
Producers have been told to “stand by,” with a member of the creative team that has knowledge of the matter informed Ringside News they were told to “be prepared to offer feedback on a new script.”
As of this writing, it’s a little over 4 hours to air so things should be very interesting on the timing of things tonight.
