Update On Trial For Stalker Of Sonya Deville
Sonya Deville has suffered quite an ordeal with a stalker this year. Even after his arrest, her stalker continued to harass her by having his mail forwarded there.
She has now scored a major victory, securying a permanent restraining order from him.
Fox 13 in Tampa Bay has reported that during a hearing yesterday, the temporary protection order Deville has against her stalker, Philip A. Thomas, is now indefinite until the conclusion of his criminal trial.
Thomas’ next court date is in December, and the charges have piled up. He has been charged with Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Armed Kidnapping, and Criminal Mischief. Deville’s stalker has remained silent, invoking the Fifth Amendment in the matter.
